DR. ARIJIT SEN

Arijit Sen, Ph.D., is an architect and vernacular architecture historian who writes, teaches and studies urban cultural landscapes. His research includes studies of South Asian immigrant landscapes in North America.  He has worked on post disaster reconstruction and community-based design in the Lower Ninth Ward, New Orleans and directed public history and cultural landscapes field schools in Milwaukee. Sen’s academic and research background is in architectural design, history, social, cultural and behavioral analysis of the built environment, and American cultural landscape studies.

*Directions: Kenilworth Square East in on the south side of E. Kenilworth Place between Farwell and Prospect. Enter through the paved walkway in the center of the block. Door is toward the back on the east side. Elevators to 6th floor and you are there!
