U Rock Part 3 – Diamond, King, to P!nk: Jews Who Rocked the ’70s through Today

Through a combination of stories, historical facts, and live musical interludes, Scott Emmons, Dean of the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee Peck School of the Arts and Professor of Music Education, will join with UWM music students and alumni to take the audience on a Rock journey progressing from the 1970s to today. Discover the musical impact of Jewish recording artists such as Neil Diamond, Carole King, Carly Simon, Billie Joel, Lou Reed, Geddy Lee, Kiss, Randy Newman, David Lee Roth, Mark Knopfler, the Barenaked Ladies, Leonard Cohen, Jacob Dylan, and Pink. RSVP here.
