Performances begin at 7:30pm Wednesday-Saturday; 2pm Sunday
Music and lyrics by Mark Hollman, Book and lyrics by Greg Kotis. Director: Tony Horne.
A musical that satirizes contemporary politics by asking the question: How much does it cost to pee? The answer is revealed in an uproarious civics lesson that does away with a happy ending by replacing it with a romp through greed, community action, corruption, love and revolution. With surprising hilarity and irony, this show pokes fun at capitalism, bureaucratic mismanagement, municipal politics, and the musical genre itself—and all during a time when water is the gold standard.
